Italian product designer focused on minimalism that invites surprise. My work, featured at the Triennale di Milano’s ‘Women in Italian Design,’ merges simplicity with functionality, creating durable, concept-driven pieces with lasting resonance that reflect contemporary needs and personal narratives.
The Dalia vase collection serves as an exploration of form and functionality, blending geometric shapes to create compositions that are both visually engaging and conceptually grounded. Each piece reinterprets traditional vase structures, focusing on fluted and cut shapes that allow each vase to stand alone or integrate seamlessly within a set.
Crafted in enamelled earthenware, the Dalia vases go beyond mere containers; they encourage an interaction that balances aesthetic presence with practical use. The "2 in 1" model combines the structure of a classic vase with a hanging element, presenting a display that bridges the traditional and the contemporary.
Through this collection, I aimed to create a sense of balance and subtle surprise for those who engage with each vase.
Crafted from Ecco Leather's unique Apparition leather—a translucent material unique in its kind—this handbag challenges the norms of traditional bag production, rethinking structure and conventional rules.
Inspired by the Japanese furoshiki, the design highlights the distinctive qualities of this innovative leather through an ultra-minimalist approach, allowing the material itself to take center stage.
Given the challenges of working with Apparition leather—this piece embraces pure simplicity, minimizing machine intervention to honor the leather’s raw beauty and authenticity.
The Bambù floor lamp is a sculptural piece that resembles a vase holding bamboo stems, each doubling as an adjustable light rod. Made from anthracite lacquered steel, both the “vase” and the “bamboos” present a refined, modern look. Each rod is equipped with an LED strip emitting warm white light.
The “bamboo” stems are mounted on ball joints, allowing them to tilt and rotate up to 330°, enabling flexible and indirect lighting options. This adjustability creates a dynamic interaction with the space, blending ambient light with sculptural form.
Equipped with a foot-operated dimmer, the lamp offers multiple settings, adapting the light to any mood or setting.
The collection of bags and accessories reflects a strong focus on functionality, embodying the ethos of La Débraillée, a brand I founded and ran from 2018 until its conclusion in 2024. Inspired by the concept of "dishevelled elegance," each piece marries adaptability with timeless design, transcending traditional gender norms.
Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, every item is a fusion of practical luxury and aesthetic innovation. The designs not only address the evolving needs of modern individuals but also offer solutions that enhance everyday life.
Committed to sustainability, I utilized upcycled leather sourced from the Marche region, ensuring minimal environmental impact while maintaining high quality. This dedication extends to local craftsmanship, with each piece handmade in Italy, celebrating the rich tradition of artisanal skill.
The Rosalina chair and bridge collection draws inspiration from the iconic plastic chairs seen at Italian beach resorts in the 1970s, merging nostalgic design with a modern aesthetic.
Each piece is crafted with a robust structure in anticorrosion-treated steel, finished in quartz grey to enhance durability. The woven rose beige seat and back provide a tactile quality that invites interaction.
Designed for versatility, the collection transitions seamlessly between indoor and outdoor spaces. The armrests and stackable functionality reflect a commitment to both comfort and practical use, resulting in a timeless piece suited to diverse environments.
The Tonka collection, inspired by traditional African baskets, reinterprets natural materials through a contemporary lens. Each decorative jar is hand-woven in rattan, forming organic shapes that capture the creativity and mood of the artisan behind it.
This design celebrates craftsmanship, highlighting the beauty of natural textures in a modern setting.
The jars are crafted in generous dimensions, providing a striking visual impact that enhances any interior space. Their large size not only adds a sculptural element but also emphasizes the skill and dedication required to create each hand-woven piece.
A series of decorative terracotta vases available in various sizes, inspired by the iconic chimneys adorning Parisian rooftops. Each vase is meticulously crafted, capturing the authentic cylindrical shapes and warm, earthy tones characteristic of these rooftop structures, bringing a hint of the Parisian skyline into interior spaces.
The Toits de Paris vases are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, handcrafted to endure cold temperatures down to -5°C, and expertly wheel-thrown in Italy.
Their modular design encourages grouping, echoing the rhythm and charm of Paris’s architectural landscape, while the sturdy terracotta construction ensures both durability and visual impact in any setting.
The Balançoire shelf plays with the concept of balance and suspension. Crafted in lacquered black wood, this piece is inspired by the gentle swing of a seesaw, creating a visual sense of equilibrium while being securely fixed to the wall.
Its minimalist form and suspended structure invite a subtle tension, blurring the line between stability and movement. Highly appreciated in Japan, Balançoire offers a unique way to display objects, allowing them to become part of this delicate interplay of balance and design.
This shelf transcends mere functionality, enhancing the aesthetic of any room and encouraging an engaging dialogue between the objects displayed and their surroundings, ultimately elevating everyday experiences through thoughtful design.
The 20 Hangers coat rack is a playful exercise in ready-made design, transforming ordinary objects into an innovative statement piece. By simply combining wooden hangers and sturdy cord, this design invites users to engage with the concept of functionality and creativity.
It demonstrates that design can arise from the familiar, reimagining how we interact with our clothing. This coat rack not only serves a practical purpose but also encourages self-expression, as the user's garments become part of the artwork.
The simplicity of this piece allows anyone to replicate the concept, reinforcing the idea that design can be accessible and attainable.
