Dahlia Diptych is a pair of ceramic vases developed from a folding study originally conceived through paper models.
The project preserves the precision of the original construction while adapting it to a different material behaviour. The two cylindrical volumes intersect through an offset composition that allows the elements to frame and partially conceal one another.
This relationship creates changing silhouettes depending on the viewing angle and introduces an unusual way of arranging flowers within the objects. The two versions were developed through paired colour combinations reinforcing the idea of dialogue and interaction between the elements.
