Narciso

Inspired by traditional Italian devotional edicoles, where sacred figures are positioned within protected wall niches and surrounded by offerings, Narciso is a wall mirror developed from a deep wooden frame extending forward to create a small domestic shrine.
The integrated shelf recalls the ledge traditionally used for flowers, candles and votive objects, while the mirror places the reflected figure at the centre of the composition.
Narciso transforms a highly symbolic vernacular reference into a hyper-minimal yet functional domestic object.
